Dance props

Has anyone used dance props to kind of make people get on the dance floor?? If so what did you use??? Me fiance & i love to dance & i know that a lot of our family isnt as in to it as we are lol i dont want the dance floor to be lame!!!

    A friend of mine who got married closer to Halloween did something really cute and got the crowd going! She had her DOC bring out to the dance floor Halloween props like masks (spiderman, batman, clown, etc...), boas, and other Halloween props. Everyone got into it and it made for the best pictures! This was more towards the end of the night when the alcohol was flowing heavily but it was a cute idea, got even more people involved.

    Dance props? I've seen them at children's birthday parties. Never at a wedding. Unless you're talking about a glass of wine.

    Ask your DJ to play group/line dance songs like the Cupid shuffle or the Macarena.

    I personally find these dances super cheesy, but you know your crowd. Maybe they'll enjoy it.
