Dark colors for a Summer Wedding?

We are having a June wedding. It’s a 1920s theme, so I want gold and sparkly. The table cloths are white. My top 2 dresses right now are black...one with blue sequins, the other with gold. The venue is very blue. If not for that, I’d stick with black, white and gold. However, we will need to tie in the blue, so I’m thinking Navy accents. Too dark for a summer wedding?

    I don't think wedding colors need to necessarily go with the season you're having your wedding in.what you chose goes well with your venue and theme

    Don’t worry about the season. Choose colors you love and that fit your theme/venue.

    That is fine. The only reason I’d have to avoid dark colors in the summer is if it was an outdoor event under the sun when a black dress would have the bridesmaids melting. Otherwise — all good! No reason to avoid specific colors in specific seasons Smiley smile
