Dark colors in a summer wedding

It's fine. Wedding colors do not have to match a particular "season".

It's totally fine. I'm June 2017 and we are doing plum and gunmetal.

Who cares what anyone else thinks? If that's what you want, do it! not being rude but it's your wedding and it's just a bunch of unwritten rules you shouldn't pay attention to!

I'm going to a wedding in July and the BMs are all wearing plum. I don't think you really need to worry about colors and seasons.

I was in a June wedding and our dresses were navy blue I don't think it matters personally

I'm doing plum & gold for an August wedding. It's what we wanted. And we are NOT pastel people.

June 2017 and we are doing plum, lavender, black and gold. Do what you want.

I've seen plenty of black dresses at summer beach weddings and didn't think anything of it.

We have dark and light purple. It never even crossed my mind that a color wasn't "in season." ETA-this is the chart we used to select colors. We went with fig and coneflower.

I was told the same thing but I decided to go with plum anyway! I figured I should incorporate my favorite color and not feel pressured to change it due to the season.

We're getting married in August and picked a deep red color !! It's okay!

I wouldn't even notice.. I'd just think it would the bride and grooms favorite colors.

I'm getting married next May.And my colors are plum, gray and white.People have gotten married in summer months using red so to me it's your day your choice!

Do what you want! I was in a July wedding and we all had black dresses. I would just suggest short dresses not long because it will get hot.

I'm having an April wedding and on the flip side, we are not doing pastels. We also like plum, with canary yellow to brighten it up. But- yea....it's your wedding. A color is a color. It doesn't lend itself to a particular time of year.
