Me and my fiancé are in the beginning stages of planning our wedding for next June. When looking at colors, we really liked the colors burgundy and navy accented with gold and blush. In getting outside opinions, both of our families have said: "those are fall colors" and "they need to be brighter". Personally, we just think the colors would look great together and would look nice at our late afternoon wedding at the vineyard. So what is your opinion? Should dark colors be left for fall and winter or is that an outdated rule of thumb?

Nah. I just so happen to love fall/winter and darker colors. If society didn't decide that they "go together," I would've done it anyway lol.

Do whatever you want and on this thing, screw what other people say. If you really want those colors, go for it.
