Date on wedding favors

I would put the original wedding date on the favors.

Honestly, unless your favors are edible and you are talking about the packaging I wouldn’t put a date on them at all. No one wants something that has someone else’s wedding date on it. If you are talking about the packaging for an edible favor then I’d do your original date.

View Quoted Comment I totally agree with Kimberly. If putting the date on something, put it on as a tag or on the packaging, not on the item itself. Most guests probably won't use something like coasters or photo frames or other objects that have your name/wedding date on it.

For guest favors I think I’d put your event date. Isn’t the favor supposed to remind them of the event they went to? I’m sure either date is fine though.

I personally would do the event date. For our minimony our date will be on the hand sanitizers but for our big wedding our favors will specify that date
