Im doing my alterations through David’s bridal and my total will be like $310. My first alterations appointment was last Saturday (06/12/21) and I took a picture of the pricing list so, this should be the most accurate prices. I’m getting the sides of the dress taking in, a bustle, 2 sets of bra cups added in and boning put in for the sides of my dress.

Go elsewhere if you can. They are very expensive in comparison to independent seamstresses for the labor involved.

I just had my dress altered at David’s and the total was $406. I had it hemmed, a ballroom bustle, cups sewn in, modesty panels added to neckline, and the shoulder straps shortened. 😬

Had my first fitting there Wednesday. $596. Not amused. Bustle, built in cups, shoulders legnthened, hemmed. Oh and the dress they swore was the right size this time when ordering it (third time btw) was not. And needs to be let out. Too much. So the button back will make a V now because I need too much space. I'd go elsewhere. I don't trust my dress is going to be done well. Or fit correctly.

As someone who just left the seamstress dept at Davids Bridal, if you are putting in a corset back it is $250, the hem can depend but will be in the $200-300 range, and the bustle also depends on how many points you need but is anywhere between $50-100. Hope that helps! Also you can walk away you don't have to get your alterations done there, and they also have a payment plan if needed.
