David's Bridal Dyeable Shoes

Jillian, on January 5, 2018 at 7:48 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11
I really want a pair of teal wedges, but I can't seem to find any that I like. Did anyone go with a pair of David's Bridal dyeable shoes? Did the color look good? Did it match your bridesmaid dresses if you did that? Were they comfortable?

Or has anyone found other good dyeable or teal wedges?

Can you post a color chip of what you are calling teal? Teal varies from turquoise to a dark blue green.

This is the color of bridesmaid dress my bm will be wearing ("Oasis" from DB) and type of shoes I'd love (but really looking for any wedges)

Understand that if dyed shoes get wet (e.g., rain, wet grass, etc.), there is a really good chance the color will run, and potentially stain anything it comes in contact with. Smiley sad

The dress is on the blue side of teal. These shoes might be too green, but your shoe is on the green side too.

only one size left of this one:

    l wedges

These are cute but this is only a wholesale site. You could ask them for stores that stock this shoe in your area

I found the last ones on Amazon and Ebay, but unless you take a size 5.5 they are out of stock

There will be more teal shoes available as the spring/summer stock arrives in store.

Thanks for all the suggestions, and I think you're right about more options once we get towards Spring.

(Finally had a moment to go back and look at your suggestions)

I wore a teal DB bridesmaid dress for my friends wedding and she asked us to get shoes dyed in the matching color. They were fine (got flats) but now they are dyed a color I will most likely never wear, and they weren’t even seen in pictures ☹️ But if that’s what you want for you dyeing would probably work!

Beware if ordering from DB online. I ordered two different pairs (one flat, one wedge) since they didn’t have them at my local store. Same size shoe- one was so big it was flopping off my foot when I walked, the other so small I couldn’t put it on. The quality of the flats weren’t great either. In order to return I had to pay return shipping (knew that ahead of time). What they didn’t tell you at time of purchase is that even if they ship together they were returned to two different addresses (so twice the return shipping). Have you tried looking locally? I know there was a shoe place that did field shoes down the street from my bridal shop. You could also mail shoes in for them to be dyed but it was expensive.
