David's bridal preservation kit?

CHEYENNE, on September 28, 2016 at 8:45 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 12

Has anyone used the David's Bridal preservation kit? How did you like it? I am thinking about purchasing one for my dress however I am curious how much upgrades are and if it's worth it.

I bought ny dress from a seller on ebay and she had gotten the gown preserved through DBs. While she probably wore the dress within the past year, I was happy to know that the dress was saved in good condition and the boxed was vaccummed sealed so thay dust couldn't penetrate the box. Hope my experience helps!

I didn't do any upgrades or anything but I still had this. Hopefully you can make it out.

ETA: sorry that it is sideways I don't know how to switch it on mobile. Also it says up to 6 weeks or so and I had mine back within two weeks of sending it.

This is how it was packaged. I was going to put my veil in it but I wanted to do a shadow box with it and other things.

I like how mine looks. I added my veil in there as well. I didn't think adding my name to the box was worth the extra $20, so I didn't. I think the veil was $20 to add too.

Thank you again soooooooooo much! I'm the mother of the bride. My youngest daughter got married in 11/19/16. First week of January I was cleaning out my Dusty cellar...I found my daughter's 5k wedding dress in a green bag in a box with a filled out form to a preservation place. Out of frustration and anger of how much we spent on that dress I packed it up a lil more securly, slapped the prepaid label on it and handed it to the first UPS driver that passed through my neighborhood. I thought I had done my good deed. Here we are miss March as my daughter starts asking about her dress. Omigosh! I did not copy the tracking number! I did not even know where I sent the dress! I was filled with this fear! What did I do??? But thank you for this information!!! The dress was found here at memories gown preservation!!!!! They could not contact us because my daughter's info on her form has all changed since she first filled it out. I needed to pay $21 there was a balance so that was causing the delay. Thank you!! Just for taking the time to answer this post on a wedding blog I took a chance on! Thank you!!!! You saved me!!! I'm so grateful you took the time! May God bless you fur this small but HUGE gesture!!!!!
