I am in the same boat. I purchased a dress today at DB. I was going back and fourth between 2 dresses. I decided on the one dress then went home and thought about it all day and knew i really wanted the other dress. I called them later in the day and explained what the situation was and the employee told me to come in in the morning. The other dress is more expensive then the one i purchased. I really hopw they can fix this being that it hasnt even been a full day. Smiley sad

I bought my dress at David's Bridal in Toronto 2 months ago. Have been regretting it and found another one at another store (not DB)

Can I return the dress... (Still in bag, tags on, never tried on since bringing it home) and exchange it for one of my bridesmaid dresses plus some shoes and accessories to match the price I paid for my wedding dress?

I had my wedding party try on dresses in store. The dress they all were comfortable with and that I loved, fit perfectly. The best part was no alterations would be needed. The dresses came in, I took them home and hung them up. A month later I had the wedding party try on so we could figure out hair details. (Sounds silly, but yes) The dresses were not the same!!!. The boning in the bodess was absurd, the zippers went from middle back to right shoulder blade, and it wasn't the same quality of dress as tried on in store. So I called, made an appointment and went in. Had them try on the in store dress as well as the purchased one. The manager said "WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FOR A DRESS MAID IN CHINA" "WOW THE BONING GIVES YOU MAJOR MADONNA BOOBS" This was the beginning of the end. David's Bridal was unwilling to work with or help me. I stepped into a dressing room to cry as they tried to force me to settle upon something less than what I picked & coordinated with my dress. I was then cornered in the dressing room by the manager as she got angry with me for not settling for something less than what I wanted. My future step daughter and her best friend watched the entire situation and were bothered by it. They felt she was racist for saying "what do you expect for a dress maid in China" and were upset how I was cornered in the dressing room. I'm beside myself!!! Do not buy from this store. It's not worth the headache!!! I won't even get into the bustling issue of my dress!!!!

Sorry, using the groom's account, but I can anyone direct me about their accessories? I bought a veil yesterday and now have second thoughts. The dress was a final sale, so I won't even worry about that, but the veil...

    Thanks!

I’m in this situation now.. I’m hoping I can exchange the dress for a dress of lesser value and the add on items to have it match the total of the original dress. Praying the consultants shows leniency. The other dress I want is $300 cheaper, but’s it’s beautiful and will match my body type so much better than the one I originally picked out.

I've read many posts where people are not completely satisfied with what that they thought was "the" dress and wanted to return it. I am curious. Where you told you could not return it before purchasing?

I found out my DB stylist order a regular length dress instead of a petite and the manager let me exchange it no problem. I’m was about 5 1/2 months out from my wedding at the time which helped since the new size dress took additional time to make. Never hurts to ask, especially if you’re having second thoughts.
