Davids Bridal Robes

Looking to buy some robes since they're on sale for $30 each, but I read somewhere that their robes run really big. Can anyone just confirm for me (if you've bought their robes before) if they actually do run really big? I mean, how big are we talking...
My MOH is a large which would normally mean I get her a L/XL , but should I get her a S/M?
One of my bridesmaids is a 2X but says she can fit in a 1X if things run big, which would mean normally I'd get her the 1X/2X option I guess, but should I be getting a L/XL instead?
I also saw a review that said the material of these robes aren't even worth it.
Is there actually some secret website where I can just get good robes for cheaper or where the sizes aren't so confusing?
Please send help lol.

    I got these robes on the same sale. I followed their sizing chart. I think a s/m is up to size 12. And that’s what I ordered my mom. She was my concern. I wasn’t sure if I should go up a size. But it fits her good. With that I would go with what sizing charts says

    A tip i read about those robes was that they dont stay closed up top and to try double sided tape if there will be pictures taken in the robes.

    I have also researched satin robes and found them no cheaper than 30 if writing was going to be put on them. Cheaper if they r just plain.

    When I was in the store I was not impressed by them. When I tried one on it fell right open.

    I got mine on Etsy with writing on the backs for less than 23 apiece

    That's good to know. One of the other girls suggested double sided tape for that issue thankfully.
    Did you like the feel of it at least? Did you feel like the material was worth $30?

    Honestly, no. The wedding I was in last year.. he got hers off Etsy for 15/each. Literally almost the same robe, lol.

    I got mine from Amazon for $15. They have bridesmaid robes for as low as $10.
