David's Bridal

I hated my Davids experience but I ended up still buying a dress there because I didn't have the budget for a salon dress. I didn't expect much from Davids so it's not like I'm disappointed or thought it would be like on TV but the store is usually busy on weekends and my consultant was helping 3 other girls. You'll get mixed reviews here but I think it's still worth a look.

I think expecting to find a dress in one day is putting a lot of pressure on yourself and setting you up for failure and frustration. I personally had a great experience at David's and thought that they had a great selection. If you can shoot for a weekday appointment, they're usually less busy then.

I had a bestie who flew from AZ to TX for my appointments so I totally get wanting to find a dress in a day. If you are able to book appointments at the places you're interested and go alone on a weekday, I would recommend it, it helped me a lot! That way you have a better sense of what you're looking for and where you want to visit when your mom is with you and you're hoping to make a decision.

I hated my experience with them. However I went with my friend to her bridal appointment at a different Davids Bridal and they were fantastic!

I loved it, personally. I didn't love the experience but i didn't care about the experience. I went to several other local stores that have the experience and great help. David's was on the lower end but i found a dress i loved

There customer service is terrible!!!! I got my bridesmaid (4) dresses there and they actually misplaced style numbers and fitting measurements not once but twice on one girl. I would constantly get phone calls from them and usually multiple ones on the same day telling me two different things about my order. They pressured me into ordering really early because my dresses were a special order and would take 6 months. Ended out being 3 weeks for them to come in. I did try on dresses there and I had the sales manager standing over my moms shoulder trying to pressure me into saying yes to a very expensive and very out of my budget dress. I won't go back.

I only went there for bm dresses and refused to ever go back. Horrible experience.

Not a DB fan

The David's bridal near me was amazing. The consultant was very attentive and pulled a lot of dresses based on my style. I ended up with a dress from DB.

The David's bridal near me was nice, but the quality can vary by store. I ordered my dress there last week.

I got my dress there and think they have a nice selection and reasonable pricing. However, it might not be the place you're going to have your 'dream wedding dress shopping experience'. (If that's what you're looking for that day) I had a good experience though.

I have no experience with their wedding dresses, but I had a great experience when getting my BM dress there.

I had an awesome experience, and my dress came in in literally a week and a half.

My consultant was awesome and took me around the show room to see dresses in my price range that I liked/did not like to see what she should pull.

They are a budget dress option so keep that in mind, the dress is one area I am very willing to compromise so it was perfect for me.

I was so afraid to go there based on reviews I had seen but I had an amazing appointment! I'm not sure if I'm buying my dress from there yet but they did pleasantly surprise me.

My experience with them has been great so far. My sales associate was very helpful and understanding. She helped me pick a beautiful dress in my budget. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money as I will wear this dress for 5 hours and then for my "trash the dress" (on the beach) the next day. I have no desire to keep this dress (pictures are enough for me).

They have lots of options in all different price ranges and helped me sort through all my emotions of that day as I tried on each dress. Even showed understanding the next day when I spazzed because I thought I chose the wrong dress. They held the order over the weekend while I sorted my feels out, and got back on board. Bottom line: I think it depends on the store (I've seen many valid complaints and many happy brides). Go with an open mind, if you are feeling its a bad experience, move on! Best wishes

I loved my experience at Davids Bridal. Ended buying my dress, the first one I tried on. We qent on a week day when it was raining so they were slow and could fit us in as i didnt have an appt. They were helpful and nice. Good selection where I got mine at.

I had a great experience at DB and it was also great when I exchanged my dress. They had a ton of options and different budgets.

I went to DB a couple weeks ago. I made sure to lower my expectations going into the apt, given the reviews I had read. Here are my thoughts:

Pros: Dresses are very afforadable

You can scan through several racks to pull dresses yourself

Cons: Your consultant may be helping someone else as well. This wouldn't have been an issue except for the fact that I wasn't allowed to try on any dresses without her assistance. Therefore, there was a lot of waiting around. Even though the apt was 90 min, I only got to try 6 dresses.

I ended up finding a dress I really loved. However, later in the day I went to a boutique and found my dream dress there! It was nice to go to DB beforehand so when I got to the boutique I knew what styles I liked.

I'd say go to DB, but just don't expect it to be a fairy tale experience.
