I ordered a bridesmaids dress for a wedding I was in in October of last year! It came in, surprisingly, really quick! I think they told us 4-6 weeks and we got all of ours in less than two weeks!

I ordered bridemaids dresses from there at the beginning of November. They told me they would be in and we could pick them up at the store by March the latest but they all came in by the end of December. It was very quick.

My MOH ordered her dress from David’s Bridal in late December and got it about 2-3 weeks later. My other bridesmaids ordered theirs around the end of January and I don’t think anyone has gotten theirs yet. David’s Bridal did inform me though that some styles/colors take a lot longer than others. I let my bridesmaids pick the style of dress they wanted and there were a lot of styles that wouldn’t come in until after my wedding or close to it even when ordered 6 months ahead.

Three of my bridesmaids order theirs from the website recently and they arrived within 1-2 weeks. They were told it would take a lot longer.

I ordered 5 bridesmaids dresses from the store last month. They originally said it would take 4 weeks, but they were delivered to the store in 2 weeks. I had 2 dresses shipped to bridesmaids in TX from OR and then I had 2 of the local ones shipped to me. I added on another dress order over the phone and that one took 3 weeks to ship to the store. I ended up going in to pick that one up. So I would say between 2-3 weeks.

Bought mine the last day of January and was told it wouldn't come in until June, but just got a call yesterday saying it had arrived at the store!

All of my bridesmaids that got theirs from David’s bridal typically took 4-6 weeks. My ladies are wearing ivory and that color needs to be made since it’s not a common color for bridesmaids to wear they don’t have it in stores.


The stylist did mention that if you order from the website they’re not custom dresses. They find the style, color, and size at a store and ship it to the house. If you order in store they are made to order which is why they give the 4-6 weeks timeframe. She also mentioned if you have issues with the dress if you ordered it online it’s a hassle to get it fixed, but if you order it in stores they will fix everything there whether the wrong color came in, or wrong size whatever the issue is. Do I know if this is true? No; but this is what I was informed.

I couldn't find anuthing that flattered me or was within my budget there.

After I ordered my wedding dress, it came in within 4-6 weeks (and I had my dress shipped to the store). For my bridesmaids, both of my sister's-in-law ordered them and had them shipped to their houses and they came in within 3-4 weeks. My sister and the rest of my bridesmaids had their dresses sent to store and they got them in 2 weeks if I remember correctly. I'm from Myrtle Beach, SC and the closet David's Bridal to me was about an hour and a half away in Florence, SC.

I think it depends on the color and style of dresses you are ordering for the delivery time, and possibly if you're having it shipped to the store or your/their home. My bridesmaids wore the David's Bridal "Marine" color and I let each of them pick the style of dress they wanted. My only request was that it was a long dress. I wanted them to be comfortable in the dress they were in b/c all of my bridesmaids had different body types and I did not want to pick a dress that wouldn't flatter their body type.
