Day after brunch

Are you having one? If so, are you planning to go to a local restaurant and either guests pay their way or you cover the bill? Or are you having an open house in your home catered by a local restaurant?

We will be hosting a thank you/farewell brunch the Sunday after our wedding (destination wedding on Friday night). It will be at a restaurant within walking distance of the hotel that everyone is staying at. It will be outdoors in a gorgeous courtyard. The restaurant has created a special menu for our party, which includes bottomless bloody marys, mimosas and coffee drinks. We will be hosting the event, so the tab will be on us.

We hosted at my in-laws’ place. We just cooked up a heap of bacon, eggs and pancakes (got it all from Costco) - simple and easy.

We did an open house at (my parents’) home. We picked up heat and serve quiches, fruit platters, and a bagel/spread/lox platter from a local place, then coffee boxes and treats from Dunkin. Maybe something else but not sure. Had all the leftover wedding stock for beverages Smiley winking

My mom reserved the largest suite our hotel had and plans to use that as a "hospitality" suite during the wedding weekend. It's where my bridal party will get ready the day of, and it's also where we plan on hosting a come and go brunch on Sunday morning after the wedding! I'm not sure where we'll get the food, but there are plenty of local brunch spots in the general area we'll be in.
