Day after wedding

We’re getting married on Friday 9/24/21. Our rehearsal will be that morning so we’re not having a traditional rehearsal dinner on Thursday night. Just a dinner with our immediate families. We’re going to do something special on Saturday afternoon since we have lots of family & friends coming in from out of town. We’ll be hosting all out of town guests for lunch & drinks at a local brewery. My question is…what should I call this event? I liked the idea of calling it “Happily ever after party” but is that silly because it’s not right after the wedding/reception? Does anyone have any suggestions?

    You can call it that. It’s happening the day after not weeks after. Or you can call it a farewell/send off party.

    You can definitely still call it a wedding reception, but I also like "Happily Ever After Party", "Celebration of Marriage", or a "Lunch Reception with the Newlyweds"!! Smiley ring
