Day of coordinator vs. mistress of ceremonies

I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation... I feel like my venue is slightly different than most because it’s more of a company I’m going through rather than a venue. When you book with this company you get all of your core vendors (catering, flowers, cake, photographer and all that good stuff) but you pay one flat rate. This lady who runs the company really just rents the space and she is the head of it all and she is the venue coordinator. She has texted me throughout my planning process to check up on me; she’s a great lady. But I know she is not a day of coordinator, just a venue coordinator. I do have a mistress of ceremonies who is also the bomb, but she is a family member. I 100% trust her to keep everyone on track prior to the ceremony, but I’m afraid once the night gets rolling she will want to socialize and her duties may fade away from her. She is not that type of person, I think I’m just being paranoid. Should I be good with the venue coordinator + my MOC? She I look into a day of coordinator? There is a girl I work with who just graduated with a degree in event planning who I would love to ask if need be. But she’s never done a wedding before. Thoughts?
