Day of Hairstyle

We decided to do a planned elopement and I want to have two hairstyles for this one weekend. We are going to Florida so, I want to get some braids for the trip and I am going to get a lace front wig for the day of. My question is what style of braids should I get so that my wig isn't bulky. Also should I get my wig styled before I go or have it styled out there. My MOH stays out there so i'm sure she'll know someone trust worthy of the task.



*This is how I want the wig styled. Color will be natural.*

    I'm thinking cornrows will have your wig laying flatter. The closer the braids are to your scalp the more natural it'll look. Are you doing wig then braids or vice versa? If wig first, I would get it styled by whoever is making the wig prior to going to Florida.

    Definitely cornrows and I would get the wig styled before going so you'll know what it will look like by someone you know and trust

    Okay so maybe two cornrows, that way I sew the two tail of the braid down. I am going to do the braids first then the wig. If I do it that and bring the wig? just get it styled out there?

    If I get it style before I go, how would i protect it from getting messed up? or should I leave it pinned up/tied down until the day of?

    You can have it cut in the style you want and just curl/ roll it on the day of.
