My ceremony is at 4pm. I don't know when I am getting my hair done yet, but my makeup is getting done at 1pm. After that we are doing some pictures. Ceremony at 4pm. Then more pictures with the parents and grandparents, etc. while the guests have cocktails. Then our entrance and Speeches/Toasts, Prayer, Dinner starts at 6pm, then cake, then party time. I don't know the order of when we are doing each of the traditional dances and bouquet toss and stuff yet, but this is my general schedule.

I will send you mine. Keep in mind it's very specific, but I think it may help. I gave a copy to my vendors/venue/ and family.

Mellojean, that's exactly what I need. I'm such a planning nut that having this toss up schedule is bothering me. I want to make sure everyone has a very clear understanding of where to be at what time. If you can send it to me I'd really appreciate it!

My ceremony is @ 6pm... but here is what my plan is (for now)

    11:00-1/1:30pm Hair and makeup

2:00-3:00pm - Dress and get ready

    3:30pm - Leave house

    4:00 -5:15/5:30pm - Pictures

5:30pm Get to ceremony site and relax before ceremony

We are doing pictures before the ceremony, because our ceremony and reception are at the same place, and we don't want to miss the cocktail hr....that's my favorite part!

Kerry H. - your timeline is almost a mirror of mine!! We're starting the ceremony at 6 pm and taking pictures beforehand too. Hopefully everything will go along without a hitch!

This is a rough draft, we are actually starting at 4:30 pm and I'm sure I'll have to make some adjustments to the current timeline.

@Kelsie-Ann B. I love the internet and I think I found something similar on www.projectwedding.com and got the idea from that. Here is that picture from www.projectwedding.com and if you google wedding day timelines you will find many more examples to help you along.

My wedding is also at 5. But everyone will be at the venue already, so thankfully I don't have to go anywhere!!
