Day of Timeline

Beth, on February 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 3 2

I am about to order my invites but am fighting with the timeline of everything right now.

My hair and makeup people said it will take about 5 hours to do everything.

My venue is only a 3 minute drive to the venue so that's not an issue time wise.

My kids and fiance will already be there so I won't have to worry about that.

My ceremony will be short from the start of the officiant talking at most will be 15 minutes.

Is this a good timeline to y'all?

You may want to talk to your vendors about what they think a feasible schedule looks like, particularly your photographer, since they'll have to be in two locations to get photos of you and the BMs and your FH and the GM.

I notice you haven't accounted for showers? FWIW - I'll say that I was up at 7am for a 6pm ceremony and we had no children to account for and H was at a hotel. We started hair at 9 (at the salon) and make-up at 11 (at the venue) for 2 moms, 3 BMs, and myself.

I agree - make sure you talk to your photographer to see if this timeline looks feasible to them as well!!
