Day of Wedding Planner, necessary or not?

My reception venue highly recommended a Wedding Day management planner; someone to take the reins on the day of the wedding and make sure everything runs smoothly so you can enjoy your big day. In Arizona these planners run from $1,500-$2,000. Are their services worth the money??

A day of coordinator (DOC) is an amazing help on a wedding day. They take control on the wedding day, allowing you and your FS enjoy yourselves without having to deal with any issues which may arise with vendors, the venue, etc.
