Day One: Fruit Flush

So with the encouragement of my mom I am starting off my weight loss with a 3 day fruit cleanse. However much I remember hating it the last time I did it I can't deny the results. Last time I did it I lost 9 pounds in 3 days.

So, some of you might ask what a fruit cleamse is? The one my mom does goes as follows:

Day 1:

Jay Rob Egg White Protein Shake every rwo hours (one serving) starting @ 7 ending at 5.

8 ounces of water every hour after the shake.

A large salad with 4oz of protein @5pm

Day 2 & 3:

1 serving of fruit every two hours starting @ 7am

8oz of water every hour after the fruit

Large salad and 4oz of protein @5

Tomorrow I will step on the scale and see the results of day 1. Just a warning, for the fruit flush the shake has to be mixed with water and it tastes awful!! I have to plug my nose and chug it down and hope I don't gag :-)

    Where do you get the protein shake and does it have to be that specific one?

    My mom bought it at a health food store. I know that this specific one was listed on a website somewhere using this one. I looked on the container it was about 23$

    I wish I could do this, but I am usually in meetings all day, and eating a piece of fruit while in a meeting, some people (bastards lol) frown upon that.

    I do the Master Cleanse Detox for 14 days. salt water flush in the am, lemonade mixture during the day, tea at night. done!

    I wish I could do this too...

    but I don't like fruit and salad..

    all i do now is working with trainer

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jay Robb!! Just did his fruit flush last week!

    He has a new diet coming out. IT'S AMAZING! Through facebook, I was able to help with a "trial" of it for 3 weeks. Over 3 weeks I lost 10 pounds. I'm still on it and dropping fat left and right.

    The "Shake" I have is to have 2 tblsp of protein powder (any of his flavors) mixed with 1 tblsp psyllium seed hucks. It's is kinda gross, and I drank it through a straw.

    I found Jay Robb protein back in 2009 when I was working out all the time (I had lost my job so I had plenty of time), and was trying to find the most protein for the least amount of calories in a decent price range.

    It really is the best tasting protein. You can drink it plain or use to it blend. I buy the 80oz container of vanilla and smaller continares of orange dreamsicle and chocolate.

    Vicki - what do you eat if you don't like fruit and salad? I have fruit and salad and other green vegatables daily. What type of diet did your trainer recommend?
