Our venue is all inclusive and offer a variety of menu options. We originally wanted to have a brunch menu but now we are rethinking.

If you were invited to a daytime wedding where the reception started at 12:30pm, would you prefer:

brunch: hors d’oeuvres, mini quiches, sausage in a puff pastry & Caesar salad on a crostini. Scrambled eggs, bacon, prime rib, fruit, mixed green salad, waffles & breakfast potatoes. Beer, wine & champagne bar

lunch: hors d’oeuvres, fruit station, mini quiches & sausage in puff pastry. Rolls with butter, creamy mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes (undecided), seasonal veggies, flank steak and herb baked chicken. Beer, wine & champagne bar

surprisingly the lunch menu is cheaper than brunch! By about $1500. That could go towards upgraded photography options, or liquor upgrades!

We are now leaning towards the more traditional dinner menu, which will pair better with alcohol

Your thoughts are appreciated!!

A pasta bar would be awesome! In my opinion, you can never go wrong with pasta... Unless you have a gluten intolerance. We made sure we had alternative options available for allergies. Should be a hit I think. Can't wait! 7 more days!

As someone who's a late riser and regularly doesn't eat breakfast until 12:30-1 on weekends the brunch food sounds more appealing to me at that time. But if the lunch one is a lot cheaper I would go with that.

At 12:30 I would definitely say lunch. You have to think what time your guests will be going home.... probably like 4 or 5 right? So their next meal would be dinner. They’ll definitely need the more filling meal to get them to there!

I would prefer the lunch one, since it'll be after 12. But I'd switch out prime rib if I could, I love it!

At 12:30 I would prefer lunch. Breakfast is usually for pre-noon time!
