Decade themed wedding

Deanna, on April 6, 2019 at 11:10 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
Anybody do a 1950’s or a 1930’s themed wedding? Is that even possible to do? I like the 20’s, he likes the 50’s. We haven’t started planning yet. If you have ideas for either decade, I’d love to hear it!

Yup! We had a late 50’s/early 60’s local reception. Guests dressed up. We had a band and Frank Sinatra impersonator. Instead of table numbers we named them by era singers such as Sammy Davis Jr, Dean Martin. I’ll post some pics. So fun!

What kind of ideas do you have for 20’s or 50’s?

We’re planning a 1920’s theme! Super laid back and informal! My dress is very vintage and my hair will be styled for the era. All the men in the wedding will be wearing suspenders and no jackets. Floral will be a lot of wild flowers, and everything is in a barn Smiley smile
