I'd love to meet you all, know what your colors are, inspiration, theme, what your gown looks like, where you are getting married, and any other details you may wish to share. Together we can all plan the most perfect December weddings!

We are having a private Christmas wedding in Natchez, MS at a fabulous historic mansion now an Inn. Can't wait!! We will have about 12 guests ( immediate family and witnesses). It's 3 hours from our hometown. So a mini destination wedding. Our colors are pale pink, burgundy, ivory, and rose gold. My wedding gown is a warm, pale pink named Meena by Martin Thornburg. My shoes are Jimmy Choo's that I bought on FARFETCH for a bargain. I love how sparkly they are. My purse is sitting in my skirt ruffles and its by Mary Frances ( that is the true color of my dress, more warm pink than in designer pics). I'm a veil designer so I'm hoping to have a hatbox cake similar to this, but a bit more elaborate. Ha! Ha! We are planning a 3:00pm ceremony. We are going to mini-moon at this Inn in their gorgeous bridal suite. Planning a very large black-tie wedding reception for May. Here are a few photos of what we have going on so far for our Christmas Wedding. I have fallen in love with that bouquet. Another WW bride had it as her photo and she kindly sent it to me.

The fur-baby pictured is my 13 1/2 year old service dog named Gaston. He will be our Pup Of Honor, God-willing.

I hope we all become the best of friends during this most exciting and stressful times of our lives!! 😂 Big hug to each of you!! 💕💖

I love 1920's hair!! When my hair is a bit shorter and I wear a cloche, everyone comments on how RETRO I look. I love cathederal length veils. So beautiful, but I'm biased. Can't wait for your hair and make-up trial! Thanks for sharing!! ❤

Beautiful bridesmaid gown! Congratulations on the new house!! 🏡 That is SO exciting!! I can't believe you are building a new home, moving in, AND planning a wedding all at the same time! I'd need a setative. Lol! I wouldn't stress over your invites. There are so many great designs for a NYE wedding. You still have time. Loved hearing all your plans and news. What a great share!!❤

You all make me feel so unprepared!! i'm STILL addressing save the dates, have about 100 left to finish. it's finals week for me & FH, but we graduate next friday!!! then it is off to DC for job interviews & i will be starting grad school in the fall. hopefully this summer i can get most of my stuff done. since we are moving from down here in louisiana to (hopefully) DC, coordinating showers & parties will be difficult as our wedding will be in louisiana. i am already two hours away from my home town, so a lot of the planning has happened over the phone & email...hope my wedding planner doesn't mind more of that!!

i cannot remember if i mentioned this earlier, but we are having an eco-friendly wedding. so this means no single use plastics, no harmful glitter, local food & flowers, etc. we are also trying to buy/rent secondhand items such as mismatched china, lounge furniture, decorations.

i found the cutest things on pinterest if anyone else was interested in some sustainable favors for your guests: jars of honey/jam/preserves. idk about y'all but preserves are a HUGE thing down here & the jars would say "spread the love". i am just so excited to see how that turns out! we also found a cool way to make confetti: hole punching dried leaves so it is biodegradable!

Oh Kate!! Congratulations on your STD addressing!! To me, that is definitely a labor of love. You are doing GREAT in your wedding planning, btw!! You and FH are both graduating then going on interviews, maybe moving, AND planning a wedding!! You REALLY need to give yourself a pat on the back!! Truly!!

Awesome on your eco-friendly wedding!! ❤ I love mis-matched china. Yes, we do love our jellies and jams!! I think that's a great favor. Our favor is homemade goats milk soap with a gilded top. Has a heavenly antique rose scent perfect for our theme. Love your confetti idea!!

Sincerest CONGRATS on your graduation!! Please don't worry, your planning is going so well. Each of our weddings will be beautiful and each so unique!!

I need opinions please. I'm thrilled with my new invitation designer. Love her!! What is your honest opinion of this suite so far? This is just a sample set. We are trying to incorporate our wedding colors of pale pink, rose, ivory, burgundy, and rose gold. So in this pic there is no invitation. Not sure of our options yet. Lol! So have the ivory outer envelope with a rose gold/coppery ink, the inner rose envelope with the Navitity Scene liner ( I personally love it...our touch of Christmas), and the burgundy and ivory RSVP set. If you dislike something, let me know. It won't hurt my feelings and it may be something I've overlooked. Since we are having a private ceremony, won't mail our invitations until around October 22. Will order them in August. Thanks so much!! ❤

Thank you so much, Heather!! You are a sweetheart!! 😍 I'm betting our guests rip through that 2 nd envelope and don't realize they've torn something until too late. Lol! I have to have my touch of Christmas though. So glad you like it.❤

It's going to be pouring here shortly, definitely a good DIY weekend. What projects do you have on that list? I'd do something that is tedious that can be done early. That way it's done and you can mark it off. If I feel better, I may try to work on my veil. If I accidentally snag, tear, or burn it, I'll literally die!!! Probably will wait a bit longer. Ha! Ha! *sigh* Can't wait to hear what you work on.

I’m not 100% sure yet what’s all on my diy list, but definitely centerpieces, invitations (I love to make things in photoshop) signs for the big day, an alternative to a guest book (probably a painting or I saw a really cute idea with a Carl & Ellie style mailbox) We have all our vendors picked out so now it’s time to get into the fun little details! Smiley smile

If it were me, I'd begin designing your invitations!! You definitely want those done on time!! They are alot of work with stuffing and addressing. I may work on my favors. They need to be boxed and that is something easily done.

Any invitation ideas? We are doing an alternative guest book, too. Can't decide. One is a drawing of the Delta Queen paddle-wheeler and the other is a painted likeness of us in our wedding attire with Gaston. Everyone just signs their names. Then we'll have it framed. Decisions...decisions...🤔

Ok. Well, bed rest is getting old, but it is what it is. So I did a DIY sign for our private Christmas ceremony. I did it on Zazzle and have selected the canvas. I hope that means I don't need to have it framed. Does everything look straight? I did it on my phone and I think maybe the part with our names and date may not be perfectly centered. I accidentally hit the wrong thing and it went askew. I chose a 16X20. Think I need it larger? Thanks! xoxo

Hi everyone!! ❤ If you have time, please check in. Let us know what you've been up, too. Even if work, school, or nothing! 😉 We are all getting married at such a special time of the year!! My goal, God willing, is to begin decorating my veil again. I have SO much left to do, but I'll be so proud when I wear it, though. Anyone doing any special skincare regimes? We can have a discussion about winter skin care.

I had won a facial from registering on David’s bridal to save some dresses and they did so much that I didn’t even think about, definitely going to look into some of the products they used Smiley smile I’ll let you know when I find them!

We are busy now with buying the house and wedding planning! I am working on my DIY card box. I think the next thing I'm going to tackle is the guestbook and sign for the guestbook. I really really need to start taking better care of my skin. I don't wear makeup and I have a good face wash, but I'm looking for an electric exfoliating brush. I have large pores around my nose, so I really need to find a better way to clean those. I considered getting a facial, just haven't had the time. How is your health? Do you know when you may get off bed rest?
