I'd love to meet you all, know what your colors are, inspiration, theme, what your gown looks like, where you are getting married, and any other details you may wish to share. Together we can all plan the most perfect December weddings!

We are having a private Christmas wedding in Natchez, MS at a fabulous historic mansion now an Inn. Can't wait!! We will have about 12 guests ( immediate family and witnesses). It's 3 hours from our hometown. So a mini destination wedding. Our colors are pale pink, burgundy, ivory, and rose gold. My wedding gown is a warm, pale pink named Meena by Martin Thornburg. My shoes are Jimmy Choo's that I bought on FARFETCH for a bargain. I love how sparkly they are. My purse is sitting in my skirt ruffles and its by Mary Frances ( that is the true color of my dress, more warm pink than in designer pics). I'm a veil designer so I'm hoping to have a hatbox cake similar to this, but a bit more elaborate. Ha! Ha! We are planning a 3:00pm ceremony. We are going to mini-moon at this Inn in their gorgeous bridal suite. Planning a very large black-tie wedding reception for May. Here are a few photos of what we have going on so far for our Christmas Wedding. I have fallen in love with that bouquet. Another WW bride had it as her photo and she kindly sent it to me.

The fur-baby pictured is my 13 1/2 year old service dog named Gaston. He will be our Pup Of Honor, God-willing.

I hope we all become the best of friends during this most exciting and stressful times of our lives!! 😂 Big hug to each of you!! 💕💖

Thanks Allie!! Not sure the tempo is fast enough? Then again, if outside, will be steps and such in the garden. HA! Ha! I need to pull up some renditions via violin on UTube. I do think it'll work and bring in that Christmas wedding feeling. 😊 It is rumored Henry VIII wrote the melody.

I actually Decided against playing any Christmas music. While I of course love Christmas and that is why we are having a Christmas wedding I think The music would make it feel to Christmas party to me. On the other hand, Our wedding is Disney Christmas themed and the only Disney music will be instrumental before the ceremony. It won’t be the normal Disney songs either. We are doing songs from movies the parks ect. With that being said I LOVE cannon in d. So pretty.

Hey everyone! When are you sending out your invites? Our deadline is November 18th. I’m thinking 6 weeks before that date? Or maybe a little earlier like the last week of September?

Thank you, Monique. We're still thinking Greensleeves for us. And we only have the lone violinist. I definitely do not want all the music prior to the ceremony to be Christmas music unless unused, non-traditional vintage aires. Your wedding sounds like the perfect mix of Disney Christmas. Can't wait for your BAM!! ❤

I think 6 weeks prior to your RSVP deadline will be perfect. If you send them too early they may get misplaced.

Ahhh I haven't been on here in so long- hows everyone doing?
Less than 6 months now! I have 136 days until the big day, right now we are working on getting the last things together for our couples shower. We're doing a BBQ in a few weeks and I am really looking forward to it!
Last weekend I took Ry to get fitted for his suit and I am LOVING it! Ooh does he look great all dressed up , he was so happy to get something to fit him and I was almost in tears at the smile on his face! I contacted the tie girl I want to use on Etsy and so I'm waiting for her to send the bowtie swatches and my first bridesmaid got her dress in! The days are just flying by- I really need to cement my hair and makeup and I have no idea why I am so afraid to just commit but I am, ugh.
Did anyone do more than one trial for makeup? I'm way less concerned for my hair, but my makeup I am so afraid of and I don't really have a reason for why lol
To jump in the last conversation, I am having 1 Christmas song at my wedding lol, it is Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays by *NSYNC and it'll be played towards the end of the night

I'm not having a make-up trial because my make-up artist is over 6 hours away. So I'm nervous. I'm supplying my own foundation as I have something that is perfect for me. She recommended a brand that she uses and its for oily skin. My skin is normal-dry. She's very, very talented, but I wish I were close enough for a trial. So I understand completely. I will have a hair trial in September or October. Like you, not as worried about my hair unless she totally messes it up! Lol!

Love the Christmas song you are playing!! Keep us updated. We are all under the 6 month mark, most right at 5 months. Yay!!

Hi everyone!! How about an update? Any new pics to share? I'm almost through working with our designer for our wedding invitations. Will order the last sample set in the next two weeks. Then will order the custom suite. I'll show pics when it's received. We do not have a photographer yet. I'm getting a bit concerned. I had someone, but before I could give them our deposit, they were hired by someone else. ' sigh' Everything else is basically done. I still need to finish my veil. I'm afraid I'm running out of time. Still need my fiancé to get fitted. I'm just so nervous about not having a photographer yet. To me, that is one of the most important vendors. What are you all gifting your wedding party? Where are you in your planning?

Having the summer off has been so helpful to getting wedding stuff done easily finished centerpieces, picked out music, made diy signs, ordered almost everything with the exception of a few things since i’m waiting for the next pay day I’ll be getting my invites ready before the school year starts too, one less thing to think about in the craziness of the beginning of school.

Oh my gosh!! My fh needs to be fitted as well! Sigh. So far I am working on monogrammed wine glasses for the girls and beer glasses for the guys. We may be putting small gift cards or something like that in each cup. Hope everything works out with your photographer! We got lucky with a friend we know who is only charging 800$ to have two photographers there all day long. 8am-7pm. Other than that I have been still working on centerpieces. I have found I need to stay off of Etsy 🤣 we also ordered a snow machine for our first dance, recession, and anything else we want to use it for. Planning wise everything is going swimmingly. Just need to make sure to stay on budget. 😬

Did some DIY stuff this weekend! We are doing ornaments as favors, they were originally also going to hang with the table numbers on them but I figured since they were glass they're better off in individual boxes and people can pick which one they like.
