I love the outfit! I still have to find a hair stylist. So far, I have no idea what to put in welcome bags, I just know I want to have them. We will have quite a few people from his side of the family flying in from Canada. What did you do for your guests that had to fly? I wanted to have a really nice welcome dinner at our hotel since we aren't doing a rehearsal, but that got super pricey because they have a high food/beverage minimum.

Hah- I totally get that. Maybe look for a topper? Etsy has a ton and they would probably be less expensive than the seamstress.

I am wearing a veil- it was actually my sister's from when she got married a few years ago and she's letting me borrow it. I've been looking at some gold pins and flowery vines to add... also been debating on fresh flowers but I haven't quite decided. I'm waiting for my florist to come back from being on leave due to knee surgery. I told her that part of my idea would be to get my bouquet tattooed, I have a floral sleeve I am working on and my artist is saving room for it. Thinking about centering it around a king protea flower Once I told her my plans and where the venue was (shes right around the corner from it) she was like "PLEASE DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE" and I just love anyone who has that much passion for their work so I dont have a problem waiting until next month when she would be done healing from her surgery.

Super excited for flowers. I also think that we have come to terms with having a DJ instead of a band... bands are just too expensive unfortunately even though I desperately want it. I think I'd rather have the flowers and maybe even take dancing lessons!

Aww these are so cute! We thought about going to Disney for our honeymoon but are doing Hawaii instead!

For your Dec 7th wedding are you leaning into the holidays? What is your color scheme? I'm always so curious about other peoples ideas!

Oh I really thought about a NYE wedding! I love that idea! That sounds BEAUTIFUL!

My wedding is December 21st and our colors are black, white, and red. I'm trying to keep everything elegant for the wedding, mostly black and white and a pop of red here and there. I picked out a simple, elegant dress from Macy's Bridal and I will be wearing sparkly red shoes. My sister and my mom will both be wearing red dresses and the groomsmen will have red vests and ties. We are getting married in my church in Glenside, PA, and the reception is at a venue in Philadelphia, PA. The church will already be decorated for Christmas and they will have their candle holders up for the Christmas Eve service. I only have to buy the white candles for the holders and decorate the pews. The reception venue will have Christmas trees decorated with white and a pop of red. I am thinking of making some center pieces (with table numbers) with string lights and Christmas balls in a vase (black, silver, and red), and also having some flowers as center pieces. I have ordered engraved stemless wine glasses as favors that I will be filling with black, white, and red m&m's. There will be a candy buffet for everyone 20 and younger (we are having about 60 children). Our save the dates went out this week (ordered from Shutterfly) and we are looking into the invitations.

The only thing I haven't looked into yet is place holders with names printed. My FH also wants to put names on the favors so we only have adults taking them and only one per person. Does anyone have ideas where I can order paper products like this?
