I'd love to meet you all, know what your colors are, inspiration, theme, what your gown looks like, where you are getting married, and any other details you may wish to share. Together we can all plan the most perfect December weddings!

We are having a private Christmas wedding in Natchez, MS at a fabulous historic mansion now an Inn. Can't wait!! We will have about 12 guests ( immediate family and witnesses). It's 3 hours from our hometown. So a mini destination wedding. Our colors are pale pink, burgundy, ivory, and rose gold. My wedding gown is a warm, pale pink named Meena by Martin Thornburg. My shoes are Jimmy Choo's that I bought on FARFETCH for a bargain. I love how sparkly they are. My purse is sitting in my skirt ruffles and its by Mary Frances ( that is the true color of my dress, more warm pink than in designer pics). I'm a veil designer so I'm hoping to have a hatbox cake similar to this, but a bit more elaborate. Ha! Ha! We are planning a 3:00pm ceremony. We are going to mini-moon at this Inn in their gorgeous bridal suite. Planning a very large black-tie wedding reception for May. Here are a few photos of what we have going on so far for our Christmas Wedding. I have fallen in love with that bouquet. Another WW bride had it as her photo and she kindly sent it to me.

The fur-baby pictured is my 13 1/2 year old service dog named Gaston. He will be our Pup Of Honor, God-willing.

I hope we all become the best of friends during this most exciting and stressful times of our lives!! 😂 Big hug to each of you!! 💕💖

If your ordering at least a year. If depends if you are buying off the rack. Are you a normal rack wedding gown size? If not, this means more shopping until you find, The One. I'd look at least 6 months in advance, earlier if possible. You don't want to have everything except your gown! And sometimes alterations take FOREVER!! We're here to help if you need us!! ❤

Hi Allie!! Thanks! I love his outfit ,too. We are renting some and buying some. Lol! Allie and I are both in Mississippi, y'all! Ha! Ha! Look for a hairstylist in Hattiesburg. They have ALOT!!! I would think they'd be willing to drive to Laurel. I found some nice size " welcome bags" on EBay. Depending on how many you need and what you want them to look like. You can PM me about those if you like. For your guests flying in, I'd make a gourmet gift bag. Mini champagne, for two, cheese, crackers, disposable champagne glasses, maybe a small candle in glass ( so they can fly home with it), maybe something from Mississippi with a magnolia on it. Gourmet cookies. Anyone else, feel free to chime in......I'm brain dead tonight.... And you have the A/C in the room down low so nothing spoils. And I bought small bud vases at dollar tree and planned a tiny arrangement to put by their bedside. That was it!! Again, it was just planned, that wedding didn't happen. Sounds good so far!!!

Oh, that sounds beautiful! I love winter-y weddings. It was so funny when I decided this all of my friends were like "YES" and telling me how much they wanted to go to a winter wedding. I'm in MD so like you, I don't really know how cold it will be, but we are vibing christmas-y theme so even if its 70 degrees it will still at least feel like winter lol. Last year it was about 50 degrees and I am really hoping for the same, though I wouldn't remiss a bit of snow to really pull it all together!
My colors are burgundy, dark green and gold and we are going for like a "you know its Christmas but it's not in-your-face Christmas" I am super excited about it! Our favors will also be ornaments that we are painting over the summer.

Great ideas! I was thinking mini champagne. I will definitely throw in the cheese and crackers too. I love the idea of something "Mississippi". Since we met at Mississippi State University, I may do something with that idea.

Hi! The estate is in Fayetteville. It’s beautiful! We love GA. We lived in Marietta for about 8 years before moving back to NY. The flowers I chose are calla lilies, baby’s breath and hydrangeas. I really love the way baby’s breath looks in large bunches. Still haven’t said yes to the dress yet 🤦🏽‍♀️🤗 I have an appointment coming up so fingers crossed. I’m really loving sleeves! I’m definitely wearing a veil- the longer the better lol. My bridesmaids and flower girl are wearing sequins dresses. I figured why not, it’s NYE! Here’s a few pics 😊

Thanks ChefKait! We originally wanted to get married Labor Day weekend, but when that didn’t workout NYE was my next choice. I thought it would be fun to RING in the new year lol so cheesy right 😆🤦🏽‍♀️

Hi everyone. I have the flu, so I maybe slow or totally miss a post for a short while. My sincere apologies. You all just enjoy planning amongst yourselves in the meantime. That's what this group is for!! I'm so glad to see us chatting and helping each other. I'll catch up when I feel better. Can't wait to see what everyone is planning and currently working on.

As soon as my fever is down I have to begin working on my pale blush cathederal length veil, again. It's 10 ft wide and 11 ft long, not including the blusher. You all know I'm a designer. I have over 600 pearls and 2000+ crystals to apply. I can't wait to finish. It's going to take FOREVER. Ha! Ha!

Just know I'm not ignoring you all. Oops, look at Gaston. He's giving me the look that says, " Time for a nap, Mommy" as he flops in his bed. Lol! He's a great nurse. XOXO

Not much to update, unfortunately! I'm still in school so I try to focus on schoolwork when I'm in school and wedding stuff when I'm not hahaha I did have my spring break recently so I finished our website, aside from uploading engagement pics, and I picked up my dress. I wasn't expecting it to arrive until late April, but I arrived a month and a half early! My veil and belt are still on their way, but I'm so excited. It feels like time is passing slow and fast at the same time.

I am talking with a florist today because I just wanted to make sure I have everything started or in the beginning stages before I'm too far along. That way we know what we have to pay by what time and we can work on that rather than wondering and searching for vendors.

Hey everyone! Sorry for no update for a while there, I am also still in school & graduating in May so I've been focusing on that recently! However, we have booked both our band & photographer, still waiting to get the contract from the videographer! we took engagement pics with stella, here are a couple of our favorites!

this one is our favorite because stella's ear disappeared!!! & her face is the funniest thing.

this is the one we used on our save the dates!

i also found a dress this past weekend but i am so paranoid FH is going to see it, i don't even have a picture saved on my phoneXD the designer is stella york, which i found out after i said "yes" to the dress, so i knew it was meant to be!!!

That is a GORGEOUS cake! We're not doing cake, but I'll be making a tiered card box to create the "look" or a cake. This gives me a few ideas for how to decorate it!!

No- I love it- its perfect and really your colors are exactly what I would have done had I chosen that too! Are you running into any issues with people saying they can't come around the holidays or is it easier because most people have off? That was my biggest concern but I almost wish Id have been like "Eh whatever" lol

Aww thanks 🥰 We haven’t run into any issues as of yet with people not being able to attend, but honestly I really didn’t care (I know that’s bad to say). As long as our parents and siblings are present I’m fine 😊 everyone else is a bonus! But since they have the the days off people really seem excited to do something different on NYE. It should be fun!!
