December 2021 brides!

12/12/21 here (postponed from 2020) and so far we have ceremony and reception venues booked, vendors for hair, make-up, photography, videography, transport (limo), chair hire, along with the band, celebrant/MC and florist booked.

We have my dress, my bridesmaids’ dresses and MOB and MOG dresses sorted. This weekend we will go pick our flower girls’ dresses and in about 2-3 months we will get all the menswear sorted.

Our invitations will go out end of August (RSVPs due start of November) so I am currently ordering our invitations so that I have time to individually stamp each with a wax seal before issuing them.

I know it is common practice in the US to send out save the dates and then send invitations 6-8 weeks before the wedding but here (Australia) we don't really bother with save the dates and I didn’t want to be sorting out finer details right before the wedding hence I decided we will ask for RSVPs back 6 weeks before the wedding so that I actually have time to sort out all the final arrangements with as little stress as possible (though things like our seating charts I will slowly start on once our RSVPs come trawling in) and decided that we would give guests two full months’ notice prior to the RSVP due date, hence all our invitations will be sent out / delivered by 1 September.

I need a few weeks to do the wax stamps and then 2-3 weeks to hand deliver local invites (and post others) hence we will start dispatching them around mid August.

We are getting married 12/31/21. We have almost everything done expect flowers and hair makeup. We are sending out invitations in September.

I am a 12/4/21 bride as well! I have done a lot of booking such as photographer, DJ, officiant. Still need to book cake, hair and makeup, and florist. What are your colors?

I am 12/4/21!!! Vendors are secured and now I’m all about the little details. I have a pdf with a checklist of things to do every month.

I’m a 12/6/21 bride. We postponed our 03/27/21 wedding. I’m preparing my invitations to be sent very soon, probably early July. Only DJ is left to hire, everything else is kind of ready. Still don’t have a wedding dress tho lol.

December 31st bride here!! We've hired an awesome wedding planner - Mandy Martin at Infinity Events - who is absolutely amazing! She's been in the business for years and has all vendors on lock! I've trusted her to take this and run. We had our first design meeting yesterday, so she has a better idea of what I'm looking for in terms of flowers, table settings, linens, etc. I can't wait to see what she comes up with.

So far, we've locked in the venue, photographer, DJ, string quartet and videographer. Will order invitations next month.

Christmas Day bride here! Definitely behind everyone else in the planning. Only have venue, band, rehearsal dinner, officiant, and dress so far for me, MOB and MOG. Going to have as close to a Cinderella theme as I can get with the colors being steel blue, silver, and gold.

For those of you that also postponed, did any of you go to the courthouse, and if so, how are you treating the ceremony?
We postponed and decided to go to the courthouse, but already had the ceremony space and flowers so want to utilize it. Any ideas are appreciated!

Hello I am a 12/3/21 bride! I've got all the vendors except transportation secured. Now just working on the little details, wedding signs, cocktail napkin design, photo booth props are the main items I'm working on right now. Getting very excited that we are getting closer to the final countdown!
