Any December 2021 brides here? We are 12/4/21 wedding date. Where are you in the planning? I feel I still have a lot to do and vendors to hire. What about you?

We’re 12/28! I have all of my vendors (I think) except florals since it was so hard finding someone working on our date. I’m sending invites this weekend since we are a destination/international wedding for most of our guests and it’s a busy time of year for people. I’m trying to stay ahead in general since I graduate 10 days before our wedding 😅

    Hello All,

Another 12.04.21 bride here! my partner is currently in Ireland and because of COVID he won't be here until the travel ban is lifted! So doing most things alone *ugh, but hanging in there! While I've got vendors somewhat in order I'm lost in decorations and what I actually want to do.
Wearing a Red wedding dress and initially wanted a celestial theme, but now I'm unsure of the color combination ( red dress, with green blue purple decorations). Whats everyone doing as far as themes/center pieces etc...?

Hi!! We are getting married 12/19/21 and have everything booked except makeup and the officiant. So now comes the planning of the details and I’m so excited! I’m really just struggling with when to send out invitations because it feels like it’s so far away right now, but everything depends on guest count.

12.11.21 Bride here! We have a lot secured but I still feel like I have so much to do! We have the venue, dj, makeup artist, decor, photographer, officiant and hotel! We sent out save the dates the first week of June and now I am going back and fourth on when to send out the invites!

We just had a tasting with our top pick for catering, the only thing is I feel like they are over estimating the food, so we are thinking about checking out other caterers to get a better idea.

We will need a florist, rehearsal dinner venue, to pick out invitations, bridesmaid dress colors, suit colors, and cake.

I'm a 12/4/21 bride too! We still have to find/sort out a rehearsal dinner location, florals, HMU, cake and invites. I'm not planning to send those out until October though so not stressing about them just yet! I live in Dallas and am getting married in Austin, though, so it's a little tougher to coordinate some of these things not being there firsthand. My fiance and I are going down in September and hope to even out a few things while we're there.

I will be a December bride as well! 12/29/21 and I cannot wait! As it is, we postponed already from this summer to December all because of COVID. I just have one vendor left to hire and I will be all set. Wedding Wire makes it super easy!

    12/4/21 Bride as well!!!
So far we have Venue(ceremony and reception at same location), wedding coordinator, bar service, DJ, officiant, & photographer. Currently working on cake, caterers, rentals and flowers. We are planning to DIY as much as we can like our invitations and I am making our favors, we are giving Christmas scented candles.

I feel you! My fiancé has been gone for the past month and a half. He’s finally home for a week before going away for another 2 months 😭 and half our guest list is international and currently legally can’t fly in.

A red wedding dress is so cool and unique! I can’t wait to see photos.

Congratulations ladies!! 12.11.21 bride! Our story is a bit different. We were planning this date all along since 2018 so no COVID delays 🤞🏻 I’ve made my invitations & RSVP’s so they will go out beginning of August with November 1 RSVP date. We’ve booked our venue (includes food, alcohol & cocktail hour), florist, hair & makeup, DJ, photographer, & videographer. My dress is ordered. Going tomorrow to search for bridesmaid dresses. Have an appointment in a couple of weeks to sample cakes. We thought we had an officiant but that didn’t work out so back on the hunt for one.

    Hi lovelies! Smiley heart

December 16th ceremony and December 17th reception in Temecula, CA here! It's good to read all your comments.

We have sent out our save the dates, have booked the date with our church and our reception venue. We just booked our band this week! Next going to cake tastings, went to one but wasn't excited about it.

Here's a list that my venue uses to help in the process. Lots to do but so much more manageable when you know when to be doing things, one step at a time! Hope it helps!

We have planned an unusual wedding. The reception will be 12/31/21 and the ceremony will follow on 1/1/22. Both postponed from 2020/2021. We have to find catering, book the make-up, and we have decided to add additional little details.

You could always have a main accent color like white/ivory and then have several different tones of green, blue, purple as pops of color. For example you could have the colored marbling on a white base for your cake. Just make sure you are always doing a little at a time and you’ll get it all done.

We are doing a 1920’s theme and have purchased original items from the 20s for centerpieces like books and pearls, poker chips and cards, dominos, etc. We found a prohibition era barn that was used for bootlegging as our venue. And instead of cake we are having 20’s era candy that will be in apothecary jars.

12/11/21! Venue, caterer, dress, flowers, JP, hair and makeup, photographer are figured out! Still planning restroom trailer, rings, menswear, and cake. And fill in the missing things like rentals that aren’t included!

I am a December bride too, my wedding date is December 5, 2021 bride! I already booked most of my major vendors but I still need the small details. It's been incredibly stressful at least for me.

Wow i love your theme and ideas, especially the cake substitute. I finally decided a theme to follow as (poorly worded) Northern lights in winter. I'll try thinking of my base color for sure👍 thats a good strategy, thnx!

    Hi fellow December Brides!
I’m wedding planning for our Colorado 12/4/21 (we love palindromes) wedding. We postponed our April 21 wedding last year and it’s worked out so well. I’m very excited about our winter wonderland wedding. Bellow are my mock up of our centerpieces and one of the bridesmaids bouquets that I made as well.December 2021 brides! 1
