Decided not to do sparkler exit

Honestly? I'd just take out the whole ten pm completely. If you have a last dance, people will assume that means, let's leave. We don't have one of these signs, and we're not doing a grand exit, but our venue turns on the lights promptly at 10:30 when our reception ends, and our final shuttle leaves about 15 min after that.

Did the sparkler exit require a fee be paid to the city or fire department? A city venue I looked at required a fee to the sheriff's department with the apparent concern that some trouble could occur during some of the events held there. I could see places charging a similar fee if sparkers were used.
