I'd probably say less is more if choosing between those two photos

I'm very minimalist. FH is a collector of all things knick knack and chachski. Our decor is somewhere in between.

I'm going to be going for more is more. I just hope it won't be too, too busy.

Since I like the dramatic more is more for me especially if it gives a space lots of texture.

Definitely minimalist! We’re having our reception at a jazz hall. The walls are all brick and have photos of famous musicians who have played there. There’s also a giant tree growing in the middle of the venue and a beautiful terrace. We don’t have to provide any decor because the venue is just so beautiful on its own! We’re getting married in a beautiful cathedral (St. Louis Cathedral in downtown New Orleans) and it also doesn’t need decor as it is beautiful on its own.

Totally minimalist. Our venue has a spectacular view, so we don't want to distract from that.

Between the two, minimalist all the way. "More is more" mentality can quickly become tacky or inadvertently look cheap if it's not executed properly. Minimalist is nice when it has the right accents and statement pieces.

Happy medium? I definitely want more than just bare minimum, but don’t want things looking too cluttered.
