I like rectangular tables. I enjoy that 'Hogwarts Great Hall' look.

I love round tables. They have a ceremonial flare.

Rounds. We have over 100 people so round tables will fit better in the venue. Plus it is easier for your guests to talk to each other.

I would prefer round tables for the reason of giving my guest the opportunity to mingle with whomever they choose, but my venue came with regtangluar tables, so there! The size of them works well enough with the desire to mingle, and we're not going to be spending a lot of time sitting, so mingling will happen! Smiley heart

I love the idea of rectangle tables for everyone to be together- after all we are becoming one.

Whichever the venue has and whichever works best to seat your guests and looks good in the space. How about a mix of both?

We have both. The guest will be sitting at rounds while the wedding party will be sitting at the head table that is rectangular.

    My venue has both.

As such, I am using both.

The round for the Cake, Guestbook, and smaller groups of people (family and my team Mom’s name).

OMG I fell in love with the estate style seating, the rectangles but unfortunately the 2 venues we want don't provide rectangular tables ☹

I love the aesthetic of long wooden tables, but for practical purposes, I prefer round tables. I like the idea that everyone has equal footing at a round table and it's easier for conversing.

I would totally prefer banquet style. But with family issues, I'm forced to go with rounds. Smiley sad How fun lol.

Rounds, I think it helps guests at the same table interact with one another, without leaning over the person in-between them.

Both! We have a long head table and then round tables for guests. I like the contrast.

I'm not quite sure. I think the U shape with rectangular tables is very classic and elegant.
