Some kind of altar, arch, or backdrop for your ceremony. There are many different styles of this if you look on Pinterest.

Centerpieces for your reception tables -- doesn't necessarily have to be flowers.

Hi ! I would say nothing is really an obligation - if you have a place that is beautiful on its own... You can have an arch or show the place of your ceremony diferently...

I'm focused on the centerpieces and the cake. Once I figured out what they will generally look like, I was able to pick linen colors and what I want on the sweetheart table. I'm not doing a bunch of chair covers or bows but they can really add to the decor. What is your venue supplying? And are you doing table settings or buffet style dinner? I think that will help you decide what to do with guest tables.

Really your decor can be anything you want, I am making an arch for us and have a centerpiece per table and a few candlabras and extra lighting and thats about it.

Maybe look to your venue for inspiration? Some venues have Instagram accounts and often post decor from weddings - maybe you'll see something you like and go from there.

Be sure to have a card "box" and many people have signage (searing charts, welcome signs, etc).

Card box for sure, centerpieces for your table. my venue has a wedding arch already so just getting flower for that - will have flowers on our head table - I was thinking about getting a neon sign with our last name but idk where I would put it.

Must haves centerpieces, don't have to be flowers - just google or Pinterest centerpieces - and a place for guests to put cards really. Maybe you want some signs for like a guest book or a sweets table or signature drinks if you are doing that.

What’s your reception venue? That may help us come up with ideas.
