when I graduated high school, the local cheesecake place decorated my cake in some kind of piping gel. I was thinking about doing something like that perhaps.......

any ideas on how I can decorate a cheesecake, where I can get the stuff? my wedding is all DIY.

who else is having cheesecake and how will you display it?

My wedding is in January and my fiance doesn't eat cake. I've been playing with the thought of cheesecake and all of you just reassured me its acceptable. We are D.I.Y almost everything except serving. I'm hiring servers for dinner but wanted a self serve cake since the servers will likely be gone before the cake cutting,so I'm doing a cupcake display. Is it more elegant to have a cake instead of cupcake?

Stacey L I've been looking at silver cupcake stand in the second photo on Amazon. Do you think it looks more like a birthday stand then for a wedding?
