Charger plates - They're silver & the plate itself is what we want. But I dont like how they were painted, it looks scratched, cheap. I know that's how they all are, just designed that way. But it's tacky. We considered painting over them, but FH thinks it's a waste to paint over paint. Thought about gluing ribbon over it, could work & I did find some gorgeous ribbon that is white w/silver sparkly swirls. But then we'd have to buy clear votive holders, since the ones we fell in love w/are fleur de lis design & wouldnt match the ribbon.
*Side Note - the votive holders we're using for LED lights. Fluer de lis is very popular for mardi gras/masque, not to mention it's french for Iris, which is my flower*
FH didnt like the clear candles, nor the ribbon idea, which he tells me AFTER I buy 2 rolls of it, & I no longer have the receipt for!
