Decorating tent with paper lanterns??

I would take a look at Pinterest. When I was considering a tent wedding this was my go to. You can find so much inspiration and how others decorated their tents.

They probably won't give you enough light by themselves.... I'd ask your tent people about that.

This might be one case where inspiration is better than execution. Who is going to hang all 200 lanterns? Who is going to light them? Each job will take a long time to do and the fake candles in the lanterns only last so long. If you do this, I'd mix up lantern sizes. All 8 inch would look a little strange.

I would get some much larger lanterns- 20-24". When you are hanging something up high, scale is important.

We're doing paper lanterns in ours more so to add color against the white tent. Our coordinator recommended a variety of sizes between 14" and 24" in diameter.

I haven't had my wedding yet but my venue is an indoor/outdoor tent and comes with lanterns already. I love it. Here is the pic.
