Deep Sea Fishing

Dallas, on October 8, 2020 at 8:02 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 7
Ladies! This may be a long shot, but the FH and I are honeymooning in Myrtle Beach this November. With that being said, he has always wanted to go Deep Sea fishing (neither of us have been before). I would love any input on what to expect, if we can even go that late in the year? Anything is appreciated. Thanks so much!!

It’s usually much tougher water, which makes sense, so if you get sea sick easily be prepared for that. For similar reasons I don’t suggest being hungover... and wear lots of sunscreen/bring a hat! You’re out in direct sun for a long time. Usually they bring a sandwich or snack and drinks but make sure they do or bring something with you.

I absolutely love deep sea fishing! I have only gone on the west coast (out of Fort Bragg) on a charter boat. If you get sea sick I would take Dramamine before going out on the boat. If you are not sure if you get sea sick I would bring some with you just in case. All the boats I have been on allow you to bring all of your own brinks and food so we always bring a cooler of beer and snacks. Bring sunglasses and a light wind breaker! Just relax and have fun!

That sounds like it could be fun!! I'd check out reviews on yelp & TripAdvisor for local tours to get an idea of what to expect!

Also one of the tour booking sites in Myrtle says that the best time to go deep sea fishing in Myrtle Beach is between March and the end of November - so you'll still be in season!
