Does the venue have signage you can use? Our venue had a storage room with a ton of stuff we could use.

1-Maybe give him some screen shots of the signage your looking for- that will give him some direction.
2-seating chart. When I started working on that, he pointed out some of his coworkers that don’t like each other so I had him tweak it. 3-if you’re serving alcohol, have him figure who’s a beer, mixed drink or non drinker. Give him the alcohol calculator to figure out how much to get.

Honestly, you don't need any signage. This whole trend of welcome signs and such only sprouted up in the last few years. People know who's wedding their attending. You also don't have to go crazy on the decor. That being said, this wedding is also your FH's and presumably a capable adult, so I would maybe show him some pictures online of things that you have thought may look nice and let him take it from there.

If you truly want to take a break, let him choose signage. Just make him a quick list without trying to control too much and let him get what he likes! I'm sure you have a checklist, just hand it to him and say, have at it honey! haha
