Do you mean assigning tasks on the wedding day in place of hiring a month of coordinator? Because your attendants will not be able to enjoy themselves at the wedding, nor do they have contact information for your vendors or know how to smooth things over behind the scenes under pressure. Their only responsibilities are to show up on time to get ready, emotionally support you at the ceremony and enjoy themselves at the reception.


Or do you mean helping out while planning? That is your (you and fiancé’s) job to plan the wedding.

Maybe you can start off by writing a list of things that you would need help accomplishing on the wedding day, and then see which members of the bridal party would be helpful with each thing? For example, if you need help collecting items after the reception (signage, candles, etc.), you can ask 1-2 people to be in charge of that.


I think that if you need help managing a few tasks, you can delegate them according to people’s strengths, and lighten the load by having 1 manageable thing a person is in charge of. Your bridal party can still have a wonderful time while also helping the day run smoothly. 💗☺️
