It would also be great if there was a way to delete or add anything thing you want. For example like if you aren’t gonna use a videographer,caterer,etc you could just delete it off of your budget as a category. Every wedding is different and for those of us who are planning weddings on a budget. The unnecessary stuff really gets in the way of what we really want in our wedding. So make the budget categories customized.

Yes! It is so much easier to use! You can delete messages, the websites are nicer! I love it way better than wedding wire!

Christina, I have actually switched to the Knot's website for this very reason, and am enjoying it, especially as you said, planning a wedding a year ahead, there are too many messages in my Inbox.

However, I will say that I do like the forums here, and the way it is so easy to chat and speak with other brides.

Found this thread because I'm experiencing the same issue with my planning. WeddingWire- you guys need to fix this, you're losing customers for such a small issue!

Agreed! At least with the Knot I can delete conversations... I'm starting to lose the ones I actually want.

Any update on this issue? I hate that i cant keep the venues im communicating with separate from the others im emailing for information.

AGREE. The inability to delete vendor messages is horrendous. The creators of Wedding Wire have clearly never planned a wedding!

Super stressful trying to communicate with vendors you like and having all these extra messages floating around. When will we be able to delete them???

So much agree. I just want to be able to archive them even.

Any update on this? It's really hard to break through the noise.

View Quoted Comment Ive read all tje comments over the past year+ and WeddingWire has said its going to pass on the info 2× and yet still nothing has changed... Most people are switching to the Knot simply because of this, if it's not fixed soon, i guess i will be too.

This is so annoying! I hate that I cannot organize my vendor messages or deleted messages from vendors I'm not longer interested in. This makes it too hard to keep everything in order. I'm going back to using The Knot.
