Dermaplaning? Lash Lift & Tint?

Same for lash lift & tint? Thoughts?

I've never done either! I've done stem cell microneedling once, doing it again in 2 weeks. Possibly a chemical peel too. Then I'll do an oxygen facial and botox in my forehead about 4 weeks out. I've had three facials since January, and one microdermabrasion treatment.

Thank you for all your help!

Yeah I am not sure it might be just that women who already have prominent facial hair it might grow back darker. It seemed to work okay for me! And oh that's not bad at all I live in PA in a valley. I would imagine philly is more pricier. I might actually look into it. I have one wrinkle on my forehead towards the right side of my face not all the way across as a result of me lifting my brows too much for makeup application. I've always wanted to do it just wasn't willing to spend $400+ on it! I already spent 475 on not so great microblading over the winter Smiley amazing

I have had a lash tint and honestly I did not notice a difference AT ALL. I have heard a lot better things about lash lifts and lash extensions so I would recommend doing them instead. Smiley smile

Yeah I'd for sure do a lift if I did a tint! I've done extensions and am not a fan, but good to know just the tint isn't worth it!

They are kind of like small sun spots but not lol. They are just on the surface of my skin so after a couple times of doing it they fade and are barely noticeable.

You can always try it at home! One of my friends does it herself and she says its super easy. She uses little eyebrow razors and just goes over her whole face. You can do small pacthes and work your way up.

I think I'm too much of a chicken to try it at home, it would scare me in case I cut myself hahahahaha

I got a lash lift and tint a while back and while the results were great, I am a face sleeper and unfortunately they didn't last more than about 10 days for me. As long as you're not a face sleeper, this shouldn't be an issue for you.

As far as dermaplaning, I haven't had it done personally but I 100% trust my aesthetician and she swears by it. I have PCOS and dark hair so I do have issues with facial hair. Years ago I got laser treatments on my lip and chin but wasn't getting the results I wanted. Now I actually have my aesthetician sugar that area when I go in for my monthly eyebrows and Brazilian (also done by sugaring). My hair has thinned out there and I just have to occasionally pluck a hair or two outside of my appointments. It also gets the peach fuzz in the process for me.

Oh, that's good to know! I move around a lot while I sleep. I think I'll plan on getting the lift Monday/Tuesday so they are still fresh but I can put mascara on for our Friday evening rehearsal & Saturday evening wedding.

What is a sugar treatment? Like a sugar scrub? I don't have dark facial hair at all, you really can't see any hair on my face unless you are SO close & really looking for it. I think she just recommended it so my makeup goes on super easy. I'm glad you think it helps thin the hair though, that's a good sign!

Yes that should be totally fine then! Sounds like a good timeline.

If you're less concerned with the hair and more concerned with your skin overall, I would agree that dermaplaning would be best for that. Sugaring is a natural alternative to waxing. It's a paste made from sugar, water, and lemon. She runs the paste on and pulls it off. It hurts less than waxing and is good for sensitive (or any) skin because the paste only adheres to the hair and not to your skin like wax does. It has been a gamechanger for me.

Oh cool! Yeah I don't think waxing my face would be a good idea, since there is such little hair. I'm not a fan of waxing, so it's cool to know sugaring is an alternative for like my arms & stuff.

Yep exactly, agreed. I also use sugaring for my brows and it's pain free and I dont have any sensitivity to it (which I often would with waxing). But I agree it doesn't sound like the right solution to this situation, I would suggest dermaplaning for you.

Agreed to the fullest. I use Dollys Lash kit and i love it!! And in my opinion, Lash lift & tint is far better than the eyelash extension. Lash lift gives perfect curls to natural lashes without damaging them.
