Will you have a traditional wedding cake, or a more modern dessert option? Smiley cake

We're going to be a little bit of both. We will have a 2 tier cake to cut into, and then cupcakes and donuts. I am super excited about the dessert table Smiley smile

Ours is pretty non traditional. Cupcakes, pies, cheesecakes, cookies, and dessert breads. We are very excited to be able to offer so many choices to our guests. Wedding cake prices were crazy.

I’m going to have a tiered cake, at least one sheet cake in the back, and I also want to have cookies, doughnuts, and maybe cupcakes.

Modern. We want two tiers. One to cut, one to save and the rest cupcakes. Our venue is an Italian Cuisine place so we are having cannoli's also.

We are having an ice cream truck come, as well as a cheesecake to cut into with mini cheescakes on a tiered stand to resemble a wedding cake. I am so excited!

We are thinking both. Wedding cake and maybe a dessert instead of grooms cake

We really have no idea, yet. I am leaning towards a small cake on top with cupcakes on wooden tiers, beneath. It's just much easier for everyone to grab.

We want to have a Pittsburgh style cookie table set up....in Detroit. So traditional but not regionally done. My family is livid that I don't want a huge cake and keeps trying to pressure us into adding cupcakes to the cookie table.

Modern. Baked Alaska is being served for dessert and my plan is to have cheesecake for a wedding cake.

We're going to have a wedding cake. We're also tossing around the idea of having another option. Though, we will have a dessert bar as well. We are having a LOTR-inspired wedding, and we want to build on that. We still have time to plan and hash out all of our ideas lol.

My mom and I are making cupcakes. I have no intention of spending hundreds of dollars on a pretty cake that doesn't taste good.
