Destination Bachelorette Party

Kimmy, on September 24, 2019 at 2:58 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 4

I'm doing an international bachelorette party and I'm paying for my own lodging and airfare. I'm grateful that my friends are coming on trip with me. Do you think I should pitch in for other stuff? I'm already under the assumption that I'll split the costs for food and other expenses with the gals. In addition, I'm thinking about paying for a special activity for everyone as a way of saying my thanks. Has anyone had similar experiences? Or is that not necessary?

Generally people pay their own way at bachelorette parties, the host(s) may also cover the costs for the bride. Did you plan this yourself? If so, I would consider chipping in because usually someone else plans the bachelorette party and an international trip is pretty pricey.

I would if you can. Mine wasn't international, but it was in CA (I live in CO). I paid for my flight, rental car (and drove up there with girls & paid for gas), paid for groceries, paid for the entire dinner the first night, paid for a round of drinks both nights, and made favors for all the girls.

Hey Kimmy!! WHere are you going on your destination bachelorette? I bet you and your girls are going to have the most amazing time!!

I certainly think that it would be so kind and thoughtful of you to pay for a special activity or outing for everyone, but of course, you are under no obligation. It would just be an amazing way to show your appreciation.
