Hi! I just started planning our wedding. Do any of you recommend a wedding planner? I hear the best thing to do is to hire a wedding planner. Did it work for you? Are you taking that route? Please feel free to drop some advice!

Arilenny, there are many things that play into the decision of hiring a wedding planner: location, is destination out of the country, size of guest list, vision for your wedding day, traditional wedding and reception, etc. For us, our wedding is in Las Vegas. It's non-traditional and about having friends and family celebrate our day with us. Therefore, I'm not finding a wedding planner to be necessary. My sister is helping me put plans in place and will help coordinate the flow of the day.

A wedding planner will completely depend on your vision and what needs to be accomplished to bring your vision to fruition.
