Will you be in Bonaire for long before your wedding? Would it be possible to schedule a trail with the beauticians that you have found to see if you would like to book them for your wedding?

We're arriving Thursday for a Saturday wedding... maybe I can ask if the person can come out Friday for a trial but I think by then if I don't like them, I'm still stuck with them. I will check Instagram, that's a good idea thank you. I do kind of know what I want for my hair but honestly I didn't know there were different kinds of bridal makeup! Aside from picking eyeshadow colors i guess??

Definitely check out Instagram, you may find some makeup artists there in the area!

If you want to do a little bit of research on makeup looks before your wedding, you would then know exactly what to ask you MUA to do, this will reduce the possibility of you being disappointed with your look. Of course, different eye shadows will change the look, but also consider how you want to look as a whole. Would you prefer to look natural, with 'barely there' makeup or would you prefer a more dramatic look with a statement lip or smoky eyes? I always go to Pinterest for ideas, it's great especially when you aren't exactly sure what you are looking for!

Most MUA's will arrive with their full makeup kit so you shouldn't have to provide anything unless they have specifically asked.

Hey girl! I would definitely hire someone for hair if you could but for your makeup since your wedding is a ways out I think you could start practicing and be ready in time for your wedding day! I'm a HMU in the PNW and former Sephora, and NARS artist. I would say to make a makeover appointment at your local Sephora, let them know that you are getting married next year and that you want to learn how to apply your makeup and what would work best for your needs. Sephora employees do not work on commission so their suggestions are genuine. The makeover is technically free with a $50 purchase but I mean if you're looking to get things for you to actually use on your wedding day already yannoe.
