in which country are you going to get married?

I’m leaning towards a Sandals wedding/honeymoon bc they do the wedding free & we will most likely be going there for a honeymoon so why not? Only downside I put a deposit down on my venue that I LOVE 😬🤷🏼‍♀️

I actually am in the middle of planning my DW right now! We secured the Valentin Imperial in Riviera Maya, Mexico. I emailed them pretty quickly after we had gotten engaged in August, and they were very helpful. They recommended securing the date a year in advance, which we were only slightly behind on. We booked Aug 7th 2021, and the wedding coordinator said we would start actually planning in January. So we kinda just started! The coordinator seems pretty chill about the whole process but I'm like chomping at the bit to pin down details already lol.

I will say that I requested their 2021 menu in advance and we chose our entrees so I could make and order invitations this month (January), because they do require guests' meal choices ahead of time. I am personally sending mine out by mid Feb just because I know a lot of our guests are starting to plan their vacations already, so I want them to know the details in advance. We did spread the word anyway ourselves and several people have already made their reservations.

We are also doing a stateside "celebration reception" for family and friends who are not able to travel. Just a cocktail hour and seated dinner.

Congratulations for your upcoming wedding. I'm in the process of interviewing wedding planners in the St. Lucia area. I know where I want to get married. Piton view garden. The wedding planners in St. Lucia will plan the event for me. I'm telling them what I want. Pricing is not bad. So far, prices range from $1900- 2400. That is for everything!!
