Destination Wedding- So many places so little time

I’m a bit overwhelmed with finding:
1. The location for my wedding (Mexico, Florida, St.Lucia oh my!)
2. Sorting through the many resorts3. Finding the best package deal4. Mentally being ok with trusting someone to handle your vision perfectly, since I’ll only be able to make 1 visit before the wedding.
What are some tips, tricks or tools you have used with planning a destination wedding for about 60 ppl? How do you feel about not being able to taste test until a few days before the wedding?
Checking wedding dress, decorations, gift bags?

1 - choose the destination you love most and your fh and maybe the one with the best budget. Which place is the heavy favorite. St. Lucia is beautiful but is it easy to fly there?
2- are you hiring a wedding coordinator? That may help with the stress and there will be communication. The important thing about your wedding day is you marrying your guy and it's j if your vision isn't perfectly executed.

Where do you live? Would anyone be able to drive to FL if you chose to have it there?
1. What are some tips, tricks or tools you have used with planning a destination wedding for about 60 ppl? I would pick the location that is most budget-friendly. I assume FL is cheapest because people don't need passports & some can drive if your guests are in the U.S.
2. How do you feel about not being able to taste test until a few days before the wedding? This would entirely depend on reviews for me from other brides. If reviews were great, I'd feel good especially if I could communicate with the chef beforehand on menus & all that.
3. Checking wedding dress, decorations, gift bags? I would try to rent decorations from the venue if possible or a nearby vendor if possible. Gift bags I would ship or check, these aren't super important. Wedding dress I'd try to carry on if possible.
