Overrated. Way too much money. If you want to do a trip, save it for the honey moon. I already feel bad for making my family travel as much as they are. That, however, cant be avoided since we live in TX and they in MI.

Honestly underrated. Not havingone myself, but I would have loved to if we could afford it. However, I’m enjoying planning something small for my fiancé and I to enjoy.

Extremely overrated. They're gorgeous and if you have the money, by all means spend it, but I have never wanted one myself. I'm happy getting married in our home state, right near my home town

Underrated, we wish we could have one but my close family wouldn't be able to attend for various reasons and those are people I want there on our special day.

Neither? Lol I mean for certain people, it's nice. Something small and quiet and in a great setting. However, I do think some people to overboard with it.

A little of both. Overrated in the fact that lots of people think they have to do a destination wedding in order for it to be extra memorable. Underrated in the fact that you can literally have your wedding anywhere you dream of.

I didn't personally have a destination wedding but I think they're underrated. Such a great idea and so fun! I hope one day I have a friend who has a destination wedding that I'm invited to.

I've never met anyone who had one. They sound fun if you don't mind giving up control to the venue at most locations.
