Devotions for engaged couples?

BTW my apologies if these types of things are not allowed... I'm not trying to discuss my religious beliefs, I just thought this would be a good place to ask for recommendations.

I would say the book The Five Love Languages would be good to read together, not a devotional but good information

Megan I read that book years ago before I met my fiance and I loved it! I have been thinking about rereading it with him.

I did want something a little more faith-centered as well.

Not a devotion but a book- very Christianity- centered- "you and me forever: marriage in light of eternity." Written by Francis chan with his wife. Doesn't have "wife is subservient" messages, bc they don't believe that, and there isn't shaming for anything like premarital sex bc it's not really focused on engagement/premarital purity, more about what you actually do in your marriage. It would be a good book for engaged/seriously dating couples or already married couples. I think it is a good choice and I highly recommend!

Ps: it actually is kind of a devotional, bc there are activities, but not in the sense that you have to do something every day

The Meaning of Marriage by Tim (and Kathy) Keller is a great Christian-centric read regarding marriage, though not a devotional. I'm nearly done and will be handing off to FH when I am.

We just ordered 6 books from Gary Chapman online and I also bought "the Five Love Languages" from Hobby Lobby the other day.

FH and I are reading "Before you say I Do devotional". We are really enjoying it.

I recommend Love and Respect by Emerson Eggerichs, and a couple mentioned above (Meaning of Marriage, Things I Wish I Knew, 5 Love Languages)

Not really a devotional but very useful; google "36 questions".
