If you are looking to spend a few hundred, check out Tradesy or consider renting a dress. Often times you can get beautiful bridesmaid gowns in white or ivory and add a glitzy belt (if that's your thing). Also check BHLDN (about $600 - $1,200) and Modcloth - they have dresses for less than $300.

I did a lot of research on these websites that make knock off gowns. It was a no go for me. My wedding is on a very strict budget but for my dress I was not willing to take a chance. My FH told me we will spend the money on a quality dress. I went from wanting to spend only 500 to ending up spending 1600 for my dress but it is definitely worth it. My dress is stunning and perfectly me.

After months of review videos, scoping chats and inboxing folks I ordered my dress from there and after at least 2 weeks back & forth on design & direction I ordered. The sizing was perfect, the dress style was what I asked for, the train was the design specifics discussed though they shipped before I approved and the illusion shoulder was placed on yellow tulle and the embellishments weren't exact it was VERY VERY VERY well done. I can have these few things changed here at home.

To have the dress made by a seamstress stateside with all the requirements I wanted was going to run me over $2k. It arrived in about a month.

Now I can look for my reception dress & I may go the same route honestly.

It worked out well for me with my seller (fashionhouse2020) who was very responsive.
