Did a Bloominous Trial

Flowers aren’t super important to me, but I do want real ones so I’ve been looking into Bloominous. I love the pictures I’ve seen but was hesitant about the whole shipping process so I did a trial bouquet. It was around $35 with free shipping for “Chef’s Choice” flowers - which I imagine is just whatever surplus of flowers they have on hand.
The box came through Fedex and there to has to be someone there to sign (luckily my neighbor works from home and was able to sign for me).

hen I got the order each flower/stem was individually wrapped very delicately. When you unwrap them, they’re what Bloominous calls “sleepy” and look a little dull. I trimmed them and put them in vases and they perked up within a couple hours. I got mostly roses and silver dollar eucalyptus (which smelled amazing). Bloominous instructs you to peel the outer layers of the roses that are dried out, which I did and they looked great.

The box came with the accessories to make a bouquet and boutonnières, but I only did the bouquet since we’re not doing boutonnières. I kinda quickly put together the bouquet cause I was tired and was more concerned about the shipping part of it all.

Anywho, here are the photos. I forgot to take them when they were wrapped in the box cause they’d been in the box for a few hours while I was at work so I wanted to get them into water ASAP.

Hope this is helpful for anyone looking into Bloominous!

I'm going to chime in here as well. I didn't think putting the arrangements together was too difficult, but I picked a "messy" looking bouquet. I followed the instructions to add a few large flowers, a few small flowers, and some greenery, then keep adding till you're done. I arranged some of the big pieces where I wanted them, but for the most part I wasn't particular. I'm not sure how it would have worked out with a more symmetrical arrangement. Two of my BMs put together the arch arrangement and another BM did the boutonniere while I did the two bouquets. My MIL who has experience working with flowers was a huge help. The biggest time consumer was sorting all the flowers. I couldn't imagine doing this if I had many BM bouquets and centerpieces to do, but I thought it was manageable for just the four items with the four people I had helping me. The flowers were really beautiful, though, and there were some extras, which was nice for filling out the bouquets when a lot of my orchids died.

I don't have pro pictures yet, but here's the best one I have of my bouquet.

Thanks for sharing this. I never heard of something like this existing and would gladly love to try it out instead of shelling out major cash for bridesmaid bouquets.

Thanks for posting this! I have a call with one of the Bloominous consultants next week and I am super excited about making my own bouquets (with a little guidance from them). Your trial bouquet looks great!

I didn’t get to choose for the trial cause that would’ve cost more. For my actual wedding I’m doing the “Gatsby” themed collection from their website with a few changes to include more burgundy flowers in my bouquet.
